Founder & CEO
Gela Andrew Suli is a Georgian-American entrepreneur, founder of several startups in media and technology fields. He is the founding CEO of the Tbilisi based CBC Georgia, an organization that develops startup culture and helps local creative entrepreneurs succeed. In 2013-2014, Mr. Suli led, as the CEO of the state-owned Georgian Film Studios, a complete restructuring and reorganization of once venerable yet inactive movie studio into a leading regional production services provider and also helped to institute Georgia’s production cash rebates scheme. Prior to his work in Georgia, he was a founding partner at New York City based production company Site4view that produced numerous TV and print commercials for major international brands, such as IBM, Microsoft, American Express, L’Oreal. Gela Suli holds Masters degrees in Mathematics from Tbilisi State University and International Studies from Yale University. He also pursued studies in public administration, media, and politics at the Evergreen State College, MIT, and Harvard University.
